Since 2003 the Scandinavian Studies departments of the universities of Freiburg, Basel and Strasbourg have been working together to develop and deliver a common educational programme. Seminars, study days and summer schools are an attractive feature of the programmes on offer. Cross-border research projects are also on the network's menu. This collaboration, which also includes institutes which are not members of Eucor (Tübingen and Zürich), guarantees quality and diversity for students of this wide-ranging discipline: however, in this respect, human resources remain constrained.
