20 years of Collaboration

The universities of Freiburg im Breisgau, Basel, Strasbourg, Karlsruhe and Mulhouse-Colmar formed an association in1989 to create the European Confederation of Upper Rhine Universities, otherwise known as Eucor.

Facilitating student mobility

This cooperative programme enables each student enrolled on any programme at any of the partner universities to attend courses and benefit from the facilities and services of all the institutions within the Eucor network.

Facilitating and stimulating the setting up of cooperative initiatives

The avowed intent of the member universities is to develop, through the Eucor network, cooperative initiatives in the realms of education, research, administration, culture and sports.
